About me
I’m a product designer building products people value, trust and come back to
From products to systems
Decisions involving money are deeply emotional. This is what I learnt while working in real estate and retail. People want to feel in control, hopeful and confident. Trust and autonomy are the drivers of these purchase decisions. This got me interested in designing systems and product launch strategies that make people feel heard and cared for, so that they love the product and come back to it.
From systems to AI
Products are but proxies for function and aspirations. They must be personal and simple. Personalization drives simplicity - if I know exactly what you need, I will not fill your plate with the ones you might need.
This is where AI is the grandmaster. Of observing and analyzing every move, deriving patterns, extrapolating your needs, and serving you exactly that, in the way you like. For every single person. This potential caused me to take the leap into the world of AI Product Design.
AI, trust and persona
If AI knows so much about you, what do you suppose it does with that knowledge, and what is its role in your life?
Is it your dear friend who is rooting for you and doesn’t speak a word about you to others, or a coach who helps you and helps others with the knowledge they gained from people like you, or is it a salesman who sells you products and tells others about you? These are questions that made me dive into privacy and cybersecurity.
I’m an artist chasing stories in old buildings and sunlight in coffee shop windows
Expressions and stories
I love to look at a picture and imagine the story behind it, look at a city and imagine what it must’ve been like a hundred years ago or look at an old house an think of the family who must’ve lived there. I bring those stories to life through my designs, my sketches and my writings.
I like to find my corner by the window in coffee shops, brimming with people chatting away, deep in work or somewhere in between. That is my reminder that design is an act of carving experiences that people live everyday.
